The New 2025 Acura ADX: Now at Acura Columbus

The Acura ADX is a small crossover that will fortify the affordable end of the Acura lineup. It's a subcompact SUV with the same platform as the Honda HR-V but it will come with a more potent engine. Front-wheel drive will be the standard offering and all-wheel drive will be an available upgrade. Here's more of what we know about the new 2025 Acura ADX at Acura Columbus in Dublin, OH.

The engine and performance in the 2025 Acura ADX

The ADX will be powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that's expected to generate something in the neighborhood of 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. It will operate with a continuously variable automatic transmission and when it's equipped with all-wheel drive, it can send as much as 50% of the power to the rear wheels. That form of engineering will help increase traction in slippery conditions.

Interior highlights

As a small, two-row SUV, the ADX is designed to provide comfortable seating for four adults. Every model will include dual-zone automatic climate control, a sunroof and a power liftgate. The ADX will offer an available panoramic sunroof and upholstery choices will include microsuede seats and genuine leather. A-Spec trims will include sporty elements like stainless gas and brake pedal caps, red gauge needles, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and a chrome shift knob.

The ADX will rise above its corporate cousin, the Honda HR-V, by providing an authentic shift lever. What's more, the addition of an Integra-style panel on the passenger side of the center console helps the interior feel more focused on the driver.

Technology in the new Acura ADX

The ADX will provide a 9.0-inch infotainment touchscreen as a standard feature across the lineup along with a 10.2-inch digital gauge display. Infotainment software will include wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto and if you move up to the top-tier A-Spec Advanced trim, you'll be getting the benefit of navigation with a Google Maps system. Onboard Wi-Fi and a wireless smartphone charging pad are other tech features that will be available on every model. The base trim has an eight-speaker stereo system while a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system with 15 speakers is an available upgrade.

Exterior highlights

The styling will look premium and sporty and the ADX will come with raked rear glass that's reminiscent of the HR-V. Other exterior features included bold blacked-out exterior accents and large 19-inch wheels. Its 104.5-inch wheelbase is the same as the HR-V, but the 185.8-inch length will match the Integra. Flared SUV-style fender arches will be responsible for the half-inch width increase to 72.5-inches compared to the Acura Integra hatchback.

Trim levels

The ADX will come with three trims that are well-equipped. The base ADX has a standard 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, 9.0-inch infotainment display with wireless smartphone connectivity, heated seats, and a full array of active safety technology. The mid-level 2025 Acura ADX A-Spec will have sporty trim inside and out, along with a panoramic moonroof, ventilated power front seats, rear seat USB-C ports, and several other extras. The top-trim ADX A-Spec with Advance Package is equipped with an individual drive mode, parking sensors, 360-degree cameras, remote start, and a heated steering wheel. It replaces the standard eight-speaker sound system with a 15-speaker Bang & Olufsen arrangement.

Safety features

A collection of standard safety features called Acura Watch will include blind-spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
