Haunted Fest 2017
The year’s Haunted Fest will be raising the dead over at the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center on October 27. This is an 18+ event, so you’d better bring your scariest costume. The event will be headlined by Hardwell, one of the world’s top DJs. Kungs will hit the stage with his hit “This Girl,” and rising star Vanic will be gracing Haunted Fest 2017 with his own unique sound. There’s plenty more, so check out their website for a full lineup
Trick or Treat at the Conservatory
Fancy something a little more kid-friendly? Columbus still has plenty to entertain your little monsters, including Trick or Treat at the Conservatory
. Get costumes looking their best before visiting Franklin Park Conservatory anytime from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 28. Admission is free, and you’ll be able to take your decorated treat bags around several trick-or-treat stations.
The Ohio State University HalleBOOia!
Yup, the HalleBOOia
! Don’t ya just love it? Make tracks to Weigel Auditorium for 8.00pm on Friday, October 27 for the Ohio State University’s 24th annual Halloween concert. Student vocalists and instrumentalists will take to the stage to perform everything from TV and movie themes to contemporary pop and spoofs on classical tunes. Participating acts including CELLOHIO, Women’s Glee Club, Flute Troupe, The Statesmen, BassoonaPalooza, Saxophone Choir, Trumpet Ensemble, and Music Education 4579. Attendees are even promised a few surprise guests.
Sips & Spirits
Sometimes Halloween should be a time to trick or treat yo’ self. Agreed? Great, because Camelot Cellars is hosting Sips & Spirits
on October 28 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Their famous Vampire Vino will be available by the glass or bottle, and you can get your palm read or visit a psychic. It’s worth dressing up, too — there’s a prize for Best in Costume.
